Vagabonds

Well, we sold our house, again, and are moving next week. I believe this will be our 5th move in the past 5 years. We tried the suburbs for a year, and decided to move back downtown. Who were we kidding? We don't garden, bake, or even own a lawnmower. The neighbours would have petitioned to have us kicked out eventually..
Our yard will be smaller, but Robb won't have to spend 2 hours a day in the car. That's 2 more hours a day he can spend with us. That is 10+ extra hours a week of giggles, cuddles, sleep, and relaxation. And we'll be close to all of our old friends and haunts again- yay!

So if you're looking for me, I will be buried in a pile of moving boxes somewhere. Help.

Three years ago, Piper Lola came into this world in a big pink flurry, and changed my life in the biggest and best way.

She is kind, she is smart. She is funny, energetic, and loving. She is beautiful and delightful and full of joy.

1. My husband had 2 long term relationships before we met. I am now good friends with both of his ex-girlfriends. We talk on the phone, hang out, and go on double dates with our spouses.

2. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian. That was before I realized how much I hated school.

3. I am scared of the dark. Because they mostly come at night... mostly.

4. In the past 5 years, I have never gone more than 2 weeks without going to a movie at the theatre.

5. I once worked as a cook on a catering truck. Trying to scramble eggs while they are splashing all over the place SUCKS. I lasted about a month, then told my gang member boss that I had to quit because I was seriously ill, so he wouldn't kill me.

6. Back when I worked at Warner Brothers, I used to see George Clooney outside the ER soundstage playing basketball as I walked to work most mornings. We've exchanged smiles and nods several times.

7. I was a generally unhappy person until I was 29. Since I turned 30, I have been a generally happy person.

8. I'd love to be a doula. I am also pro choice.

9. I've often considered getting a nose job, but probably won't. I probably will get a breast lift someday.

10. I don't enjoy driving. I love flying.
